What is the Young Actor's Guild?
An organization in Collin County dedicated to engaging youth in live performance theatre. From costume design to starring on stage, the youth do it all with guidance and oversight from theatre professionals and adult volunteers. YAG gives youth the opportunity to truly express themselves and to do what they love with people that share the same passion. When the show is over and the curtain comes down, the children will be able to take full credit for the success of their production.  The theatre experience they will gain is more than some high school students currently receive.  Self-esteem, self-confidence, and practical knowledge are the true fruits of their labor.

YAG holds two guild meetings every month at the McKinney Performing Arts Center in Downtown McKinney. Meetings are every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, and consist of theatre games, exercises, workshops and lessons. Meetings are open to all current members and those interested in becoming a member.

Join us at our next meeting, April 25th from 6:00-8:00.
YAG is now using the fundraising services of Planet Green, so make sure to bring your old ink cartridges, old phones, or disused glasses to the meetings so we can send them in to recycle and raise money to continue putting on shows!
Parents are welcome to attend, but not required.
