What is the Young Actors Guild?
We are an organization based in Collin County, dedicated to engaging youth in live performance theatre. The youth participate in every aspect of the theatre experience, from costume design, to the light and sound boards, to governing the organization itself, all overseen by adult volunteers. YAG gives youth the opportunity to truly express themselves and to do what they love with people that share the same passion.
When the show is over and the curtain comes down, the children will be able to take full credit for the success of their production. The theatre experience they will gain is more than some high school students currently receive. Self-esteem, confidence, and practical knowledge are the true fruits of their labor.
